Färna is situated in the Västmanland province. The area is called Bergslagen and is well known for its beautiful surroundings of onspoiled nature as well as its rich cultural history.

In spring and autumn the forest calls for lang walks and activities such as berry and mushroom picking. During the warm and long summer days, you can swim in the lake, make a kayak trip or lie down in the grass after a picknick. Winter turns the area into a white paradise, which gives you the opportunity to iceskate, ski or just wander around in the forest.

The lovely cities of Örebro (90 km), Västerås (50 km) and of course Stockholm (175 km) are also very much worth a visit.
