Peddling in the ”Canadian” you will make a beautiful trip on the river Svartå.
Halfway, on a deserted island, you will enjoy your lunch in an old villa.
You can make trips of 10, 14, 24 and 35 km.
Many birds can be watched during this trip, among them the mighty sea eagle.
Moose safari
Ever had moose shit in your hands or saw a moose with her calf?
On foot and in the safari mini-van we will go out into nature for a 7 hours trip.
Somewhere on the way we light a fire and enjoy a real wilderness meal.
Looking for Silver
155 meters below ground, you can see how old silver was mined.
Exciting and impressive! Do not forget to ask the guide to sing a song.
Hike with Swedish grill
We start at Färnäs Hjärta B&B and go out for a forest hike of 45 to 60 minutes.
Arriving at the ”grillstugan” we lit a fire and will enjoy a great barbecue meal.
Good to know
Bergslagen is famous for it’s outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, swimming,
cycling, canoeing and so on. Nature is unspoiled.
Most activities require the right clothes. We advise you to take a backpack with
you containing an extra jumper, a filled water bottle and something to eat.
Sturdy shoes are recommended.
All activities are suitable for the whole family. Life jackets for the canoe trip
are available in various sizes, as safety is paramount.
The canoe is equipped with a waterproof ton. Though it is a simple flat route with
no rapids, swimming skills are required.
The moose safari is suitable for children over 12 years. Good walking shoes and
a normal condition are recommended.
The silver mine temperature is always 3 to 4 degrees. So take a warm sweater or
jacket with you. Sturdy shoes are not a luxury.
